AQUINAS VIEW OF MARRIAGE

There is always a tendency to ask in modern circles what St. Thomas Aquinas would say in regards to a certain topic; for example, the A and B theory of time.[1] The answer to that question would be nothing because in Aquinas’ time there was no such thing as an A and B theory of time. Similarly, Aquinas did not write extensively on the topic of marriage. Nevertheless, I want to sketch out an overview of Aquinas’ view of marriage with what he did write.
